QuickPrep chops vegetables such as onions, garlic, carrots, tomatoes and chillies, and minces boneless meat. Use it to prepare ingredients for soups and sauces, or mince meat for fillings, meatballs and homemade burgers. Its rotating blades chop and mince rather than produce uniform slices or cubes.
Before processing meat, remove bones, skin and tough sinew, then cut it into smaller pieces. Keep the bowl no more than half full. Process in short bursts, never exceeding 30 seconds continuously, and allow a 10–20-second pause between cycles.
Do not use QuickPrep to dry-grind coffee beans, dried soybeans, uncooked rice or similarly hard ingredients. If food sticks to the bowl, switch off, unplug and wait until the blades stop before scraping down the sides with a spatula.
